Covered Equipment
Each HVAC membership applies to one primary system at the service address — such as one furnace, one air conditioner, or one ducted heat-pump system.
Homes with multiple systems may add additional equipment at discounted member rates.
Diagnostics Explained
A diagnostic visit is required when your HVAC system is not operating properly — including no heat, no cooling, error codes, unusual noises, or unexpected shutdowns.
Diagnostics are separate from scheduled maintenance visits. After-hours, holiday, and emergency calls are not covered by waived diagnostics.
What's Not Included (All Plans)
- • Repair parts and major cleanings (blower removal, chemical coil cleaning)
- • Refrigerant and leak-detection services
- • After-hours or holiday service where a diagnostic would normally apply
- • Work required to correct unsafe or non-code HVAC installations
Ottawa & 50km Service Area
Membership pricing applies within DTech's standard Ottawa service zone — approximately 50 km from downtown Ottawa. Homes outside this area may still qualify, but travel charges or extended-area options may apply.
