Oil to Propane Heating Conversion
Equipment
Trane High-Efficiency Propane Furnace, Rinnai Tankless Water Heater
This project involved converting an older oil-based heating system to propane, replacing the existing furnace and tank water heater with a new Trane high-efficiency propane furnace and Rinnai tankless water heater. The upgrade improves energy efficiency, frees up space in the mechanical room, and provides reliable on-demand hot water while eliminating the home’s reliance on oil fuel.
Before Installation
The original system consisted of an older oil furnace and a traditional tank water heater. These systems typically occupy more space and operate at lower efficiency compared to modern propane heating and tankless water heating solutions.

Installation Process
Our technicians removed the old oil equipment and installed the new Trane propane furnace, completing gas piping, venting, and integration with the existing duct system. A Rinnai tankless water heater was also installed and connected to the home’s propane and plumbing systems.

Trane High-Efficiency Furnace
The new Trane propane furnace was installed and connected to the home’s duct system for reliable and efficient heating.

Rinnai Tankless Water Heater
The Rinnai tankless water heater was mounted and connected to the gas and plumbing system, providing continuous on-demand hot water while saving space in the mechanical room.
